不曉得是因為颱風的關係，所以空氣出奇地好、或者是豔陽高照卻配合著宜人的溫度、還是單純地因為要出門時，心情是愉快而充滿創意的念頭的。總之，難得在創業的泥沼前進的同時，會有這番愉快。我看著前來面談的攝影師，和這次的導演、製片聊著計畫中的執行狀況，心裡一邊有種感覺——這間公司、這個我們理想中所謂「讓創意人可以盡情發揮的空間」，似乎開始冒出了一點小小的幼苗。感覺好像過去還在實驗室裡頭，為了一個新的idea寫出的最簡單最簡單、但勉強可以拿出來demo的code、很興奮地拿給Henry或其他人看的那種「冒出幼苗」的興奮。當然所有的人都看得出來，這簡單的一百行code離一篇paper投稿獲選、甚至一個被世人採納的理論，還差的遠了；換言之，這幼苗要變成大樹、或者讓創意人真的可以盡情揮灑的理想環境，還需要不知道多少倍的心血投入。</summary><link type='text'>抽離，可以說是在觀後將故事殘留的感覺澄清的、一個挺有效的方法。故事裡，有的部份像是稀飯一樣，順口但平淡；有的部分看了又像是在吃麻辣鍋，辛辣地叫人一把鼻涕一把眼淚的，口味重到不行.....但在抽離之後，當再度回想劇中的角色情節、情緒起伏，這些差異似乎變的更清楚，背後的理由也似乎越來越透明、甚至合理。我知道，在這裡面藏著一顆小小的、卻晶瑩而又值得讓人珍視的鑽石；但在一次又一次修改的同時，我也漸漸看清楚：存在的問題是什麼，或緣由於劇情輾轉背後的、什麼樣的一個機制。你若問「怎麼改才能解決這些問題？」對我而言就像是在問一個廚師怎麼重新調配佐料，讓慢火熬的肉能夠鮮嫩、能夠入味？抑或讓大火快炒的青菜能夠保持翠綠、爆香卻同時濃烈而爽快？ people, PROBLEMS——總是該被調整或做點修正（起碼大部分的你們給我的訊息大概是這樣），even though 我想這件事也未必要被這麼消極的態度來處理。換個積極點的角度來看，I was wondering if we could put it this type='text'>剪接 4/19</title><summary type='text'>晚上兩點，我穿著一件我的白色APC T-shirt，從工作室一樓的大門走出來。夏天是要來了吧？晚風吹來涼涼的，雖然累，清爽的空氣讓我輕鬆許多。今天剛好是退伍滿一個月，FinalCut Pro裡累積的初剪sequence來到了第六十六分鐘。漸漸地、我們每天重複著一樣的模式：把素材拉進來、找到in- out-點、多餘的枝節丟到timeline後面去備用、找到重要的audio、排順序、然後像壓海綿一樣把同樣素材的量壓到短到不可能再更短…於是變成了兩分鐘的一場戲，丟到初剪的sequence裡；等到這些事情都做完、再重複同樣的模式，把一場一場兩分鐘的戲，合併再合併，壓到總時數短到不能再短…之後再把更多想加的素材加進去，拿掉不理想的，改變順序，然後重複同樣的過程…直到整個東西帶來的印象，能夠會是理想中屬於天灝的、屬於這些素材本身的——或許還有一點屬於我的——感動。到那一天，這部片將得要自己站起來，</summary><link type='text'>《轉錄》拉高格局看公視爭議</title><summary type='text'>近日台灣社會對公共電視的關注，是公視成立十年以來所少有，似乎變成一個機會，讓台灣社會重新反省我們究竟需要怎樣的公共電視。     　最近公視課題的癥結點，主要是社會上還有很多人把公共電視當成政府電視。他們的邏輯是，政府編預算給公視，當然有責任審查公視節目與新聞的預算細目。這種說法乍聽有理，卻隱藏大危機。民主社會中，政黨會輪替，政府會「換人做做看」，如果讓政府握有控制公共電視的機制，公共電視就很容易變成政黨的傳聲筒。沒有人能永遠執政，但控制的慾望卻永遠活在政治人物心中。公視若無法獨立超然於政府控制之外，誰執政誰就控制公共電視，惡性循環下去，公共電視將只剩游離黨性而無公共性與可信性。公視法中明文規定，「公共電視屬於國民全體，其經營應獨立自主，不受干涉」。公共電視不該是政府電視，其理在此。 type='text'>近年來，城市常常是媒體報導的焦點。一座座城市出現在媒體的封面、首頁。每座城市好像是超級模特兒，成為大家爭相報導的對象。倫敦、柏林、哥本哈根、巴塞隆納、東京、首爾、新加坡、曼谷等，都上過媒體的伸展台，在舞台上爭奇鬥豔。其中媒體報導最為密集的大概就是中國大陸的城市。就像是北京奧運光彩耀眼的煙火秀與表演節目，大陸城市這些年來的發展能量讓人嘖嘖稱奇。剛落幕的奧運讓北京躍居成為全球的一線城市，而2010年上海的世界博覽會則正在緊鑼密鼓的籌備中。上海的世博會號稱將是史上規模最大的一次。報導中這些城市的發展規模，一個比一個巨大，一個比一個敢花錢。相信不少人在看了這些報導之後，會產生不小的焦慮感，憂心台北逐漸喪失國際競爭力，落後成為B段班、B咖的城市。就在這樣的焦慮感驅使下，要求台北應該師法杜拜或是北京的聲音越來越多，認為台北也要透過「量體」的興建，一樣要有帆船飯店、鳥巢、博覽會等奇景的建築與活動，</summary><link type='text'>上禮拜，因為外勤業務的關係，在偶然的機會下親睹照片裡的(據說是台灣唯一僅存的)全木造佛寺。相較於周圍的水泥外牆與新建的房舍，這座花了三千萬新台幣修復的台北市市定古蹟讓我不禁感到慶幸：還好我們還有留下一點點東西──後代子孫對於歷史的記憶不必永遠只透過那些工業革命後的fake替代品。對於一個都市乃至於國度而言，不論是什麼樣的建設、改造，都是需要高度的政治智慧和遠見的。想像在三、四十年前思考中山高速公路的興建，面對「利用公帑獨利富人」的批評、抑或在十五年前考慮大安森林公園的綠地開闢，備受「枉顧眷村居民利益」的指控、乃至於在今天企圖兼顧「樂生院的古蹟及人權價值」與「台北縣上百萬居民的權益及社會資源的開源節流」的兩種社會公利、或者(很類似地)權衡「台灣最後一塊淨土的維護對於長遠的人文、觀光、生態的重要性」與「同樣繳稅的花東地區居民、公共建設貧脊到連平安回家都是奢求」的對立論述，不難發現到，</summary><link type='text'>《轉錄》雪梨歌劇院 建築師從未親睹</title><summary type='text'>沒有一座建築物，像雪梨歌劇院一樣，這麼新，而又這麼突出，世界文化遺產評審委員會稱之為「人類創造出來少數沒有爭議的傑作之一」，與金字塔、長城同等級。  但是雪梨歌劇院的建築師，丹麥籍的烏榮，直到上月廿九日九十歲過世前，卻從來沒有親眼見過它完成的模樣。(中時社論2008-12-02)  年僅三十八歲，烏榮參加「便利朗角國家歌劇院」國際競圖，就打敗當時國際大師，獲得設計權，當時沒有人看好這個年輕人做得起來，美國建築泰斗萊特看到圖樣時，輕蔑地稱之為「純粹感官主義」。  除了表面的風帆模樣，烏榮的構想廣泛採用不同文化的普遍元素，包括馬雅城市的祭祀平台、《營造法式》的木斗拱，以及環地中海的梁柱結構，他自己稱為「evernacular」，意即與環境融為一體，永恆的結構。 type='text'>台北市永康街、潮州街一帶，不但已成為一個新的生活休憩區塊，近來更形成新藝術區域，聚集了不少新興藝術空間與畫廊。有別於運作已久、強調國際性與前衛的大型畫廊，永康區域這些畫廊規模多屬小型複合，室內空間不大，也沒有一般畫廊高檔、菁英主義的派頭，隱身在巷弄內，強調的是種生活性的人文氣味。(中國時報2008-10-21) type='text'>不知道是因為台北市人潮與鬧區的遷徙，還是年代/年紀的轉換，閒聊的空間不知不覺間已從台大週邊往信義計畫區移動了...連續兩天，雖然聊天的對象不同：從昔日總是交換不停意見的J、對後輩總是提攜不遺餘力的詹哥、到為了故宮從Boston移居到台北的日本室友S，話題似乎圍繞著類似的、對一些事情的觀察...大概是這麼說的：台灣正在經歷一個轉變的過程。在這個過程當中，有越來越多人自我覺醒或者企圖自我覺醒，企圖發掘自身的價值、甚至使命，而不願意僅僅為了薪水這樣一個過於單純的理由，待在同一個或者同一類的公司裡"終老一生"。詹哥舉例說，成群的單車騎士與電影《練習曲》二者之間，練習曲只是個結果而不是原因。太多人騎單車環島，而最常見的原因是因為他們要去「找尋自己」，因為大部分都市裡長大的小孩和這個島嶼的整體空間並不曾有過完整甚至親密的接觸。就剛畢業或退伍的人而言，在不知去向而感到擔憂的同時，</summary><link 我之所以這樣贊同她的話是因為覺得「泥土」甚至比起過去聽過媒體輿論所說政府應該要扮演的角色如「平台」、「港口」云云更來的貼切許多因為這個metaphor的意思是民間的文化團體  文化企業是樹  政府是泥土畢竟時代不一樣了政府不再像過去一樣能夠主導產業  搞一個工研院  竹科 把台積電拱起來 然後變成台灣第一大企業 帶動整個產業因為在今天政府對於產業的敏銳度已經不如企業和民間團體所以政府能做的 　文化政策，就是一個機制把種種彼此矛盾扞格甚至彼此抵銷的力道爬梳清楚，對照願景和目標，畫出一條清晰可循的路來。在一個開放社會裡，它不是從上而下的監督、管理，更不是權力的干預、操縱或控制，而是一套機制，有效地透過整合來創造文化發展的最佳條件與環境，也就是說，文化政策的目的在創造文化發展的基礎建設（infrastructure）。它絕對不是，而且不可以是，一套「最高指導原則」，它只是一畦豐潤的有機土壤，讓人民的創意和想像力能夠在土壤上著床，發芽，綻開自由的萬種新苗。 type='text'>因為大街、廣場、公園，所有的公共空間都有「管理條例」，而所有的管理條例都禁止這樣的演出行為。為什麼禁止？因為對於管理者而言，「方便管理」是唯一的邏輯，在這個單一邏輯下，街頭藝人對市場管理處而言，就是違法攤販；對交通警察而言，就是交通阻礙者；對公園處而言，就是破壞公園環境者；對稅捐處而言，用罐頭收錢而不繳稅，就是逃稅者。    　官員害怕彈性，因為彈性會帶來額外工作。官員逃避創意，因為創意會帶來額外風險。去掉彈性和創意，躲開額外的工作和風險，只要管裡方便，那麼還有什麼比「禁止」更簡單的管裡方法呢？至於「禁止」所產生的負面影響：對人民使用公共空間權利的剝奪，對城市氣氛的壓抑，藝術家的損失等等，不是任何一個部門需要考慮的。這，就是官僚本位主義的ABC。 　你問一個總統候選人他的經濟政策是什麼，他一定倒背如流。如果追問他的外交政策、國防政策、交通政策、治安政策甚至衛生政策、醫療政策、兒童福利政策，他也可能從容應答，因為他的幕僚讓他事前做過功課。可是如果請他談他的文化政策呢？ 他多半會支支吾吾答非所問，很可能不知所云。 的衝動繼上個星期五第一次進行夜市開會的影像記錄之後昨天也採訪了Anna對於07年這次的活動的大略經驗&amp;感想加上過去兩年已經累積的約200小時的raw footage我跟Jackie說  繼續拍下去  到最後會不得了不過昨天在回紐約的車上  我想了又想想不出這個問題的解答會是如何:「這個故事該往哪裡去？」記得去年的這個時候  每次進教室  最常聽到老師問大家的就是 "What is the type='text'>加油</title><summary type='text'>我在這裡  也一直努力在往前推進  努力在跟  那些走在前頭的人學著  今天小飛跟我說  做一個thesis最重要的不是要讓自己成熟  而是要讓自己看到自己的弱點  然後能在往後每一次的創作挑戰裡  都讓自己克服自己當時的那個弱點  過程很掙扎  很辛苦  然後這些東西也都只對自己有意義  (他一直拿李安導演當作例子)  對於其他人來說其實是沒有什麼意義的  但是當你突破了那個弱點  成就的作品  卻就會對整個世界有很大的貢獻  一次一次克服弱點的經驗累積之後  才會茁壯  才有可能成熟  這些東西  真的不是那麼容易  卻真的是屬於像你這樣  有創作天份的人  獨享的歷練  所以  身體要好好照顧:p</summary><link rel='replies' type='text'>最近</title><summary type='text'>Thesis交了，夜市很快也跟著開幕落幕，生活雖然變成在紐約和Boston之間不斷來回變換，心情倒是出奇地平靜 ── 和仍在ML裡外的你們(or我們)之間瀰漫的那股穩定，同樣地反常、同樣地讓人意外。我說是因為妳。我想到那天妳突然退場，最後曲終人散的那個畫面、波特廣場站前的四個人互別的場景，該是想像中不可能出現的吧？一種說不出的不熟悉、或者不該發生的氣息直逼而來。我回想過去一兩年來ML裡外的氣氛，似乎永遠隱約充斥著焦慮、不足、自我批判甚至交互批判，遑論什麼穩定、平靜、甚至滿足。今天會有這麼大的轉變，誰料想得到？當然我們都一直是不錯的朋友啦。一直以來都是，今年的夜市當然促成了更強的凝聚力 type='text'>三月六日 天氣晴 氣溫(莫名其妙突然降到的)Feels like零下23度C</title><summary type='text'>昨天是趙建築師金榜題名的日子大家都很為他開心我原本打電話去的時候開玩笑地說  要他準備好被阿魯八結果他很認真的一直道謝謝謝我們一直很支持鼓勵他害我也不由得認真地要他扛起對這個世界的責任了起來小飛你真的有潛力  所以你要好好加油剩下三個月就要回台灣  在這樣的時間點  心情其實五味雜陳值得高興的是  大家好像都有東西慢慢在開花結果也都漸漸勾勒出畢業後的去向不論是找到肩負全世界華人建築的未來發展  還是傳說中的兩億計畫都讓人衷心地期待你說他說  不是media lab不好  而是有更值得我們去的地方 去做的事我猜  可以找到這樣的註解  應該是我們的幸運至於那些不知道是不是不值得高興
